Only two bars cited for code violation during SXSW
Despite a new record for attendance at this year’s SXSW, the Austin Fire Department says it cited just two bars for code violations during the festival. The Key Bar and the Trophy Room on 6th Street were both cited for overcrowding.  The Key Bar was also cited for a blocked exit. The Austin Fire Department says overall, downtown venues did a good job of enforcing the rules.
