What’s the best Downtown Austin hotel for SXSW that will allow a 20-year-old to check in?

March 25th, 2010 by admin Leave a reply »

I’ve been browsing, but finding hotels in the area that aren’t 21+ check-in is difficult.

I would like something within a mile and a half of 6th Street & the Convention Center so that I can walk to the venues…

And less than $300 a night, please. I know the Hilton–ironically enough–is 18+, but the rates are too much for a week-and-a-half stay.

The Courtyard & Residence Inn by Marriott off of 4th & Trinity. Brand new hotel and it is not your typical Marriott. Sports bar in the lobby and a Starbucks.
